Wedding styled shoot: Desire

Feminine strength meets romantic motion.

A yearning for texture and movement.

This shoot was inspired by Pantones 2019 colour palettes of Classico, Cravings and Globelization, as well as the beautiful art form of ballet.

We build in colour from muted neutral tones at the beginning, to deeper richer colours good enough to eat, finishing with spicy brights.

This colour progression is visible in the make-up and the floral design.

The hair styles also evolve within the stories development from a softly curled down style, to a relaxed and very relevant up-design.

Contemporary bridal 2 pieces mix with vintage dresses and head crowns to create a modern and beautiful story.

We have an un-traditional trio of cakes in differing tones and textures, as well as a beautiful bespoke terracotta coloured cake with the most exquisite sugar flower detailing.

Textures are important throughout the shoot within the venue, the fabrics and the flowers. Mixing dried with fresh for the beginning of the shoot really highlights this years dried flower trend.

All photography is captured by the talented Magda whom has such an eye for lighting and movement of our ballerina model.

Creative direction came from a childhood love of ballet, Pantones 2019 colour predictions and a love for natural and more moody photography.
